Here’s a screenshot of my KDE 3.1 desktop. You can see Phoenix .5 nightly (from 20030223) and xawtv running. I’m using Mosfet’s Liquid .96rc4 window decorations, Aqua Fusion icons, and a color scheme that I kinda made up. Down in the kicker I have KWeather running, and a GAIM tray icon which makes it so I don’t have a box in the tasklist.
The stereo worked for a couple days after my last message, but has since stopped. I got into the trunk and pulled and tugged, and still… no music. Next step is to break out the multimeter and figure out what’s going on. I suspect no signal over the RCA cables from the head unit, but I’m not quite sure how to fix it. I hope it doesn’t involve buying a new head unit.
My stereo stopped making noise the other day… this was a bad thing. No radio or CD to keep me from getting bored in my daily commutes. I took at look at it this evening. It was getting dark out and kinda misting, and I was getting frustrated. Before I threw my sub box in the lake, I gave up. I shoved the wires back into place… and all of a sudden the noise starts up again! I have no idea what happened, and I don’t care. I have music again!
