Podrunner Interval week 6 mix 2

I just finished running week 6 mix 2 of Podrunner: Intervals. It has two 10 minute runs with a 3 minute walk in between. I’m supposed to match my running to the beats of the music, but I’m never able to get it just right on the treadmill, so I just go at a comfortable pace. Today, that was faster than I did the 20 minute run the other day. I didn’t feel quite as exhausted at the end, maybe the break in the middle helped? Maybe I’m getting in better shape? Sure wish the weight would go away too!

    I also just finished week 6 mix 2 – yesterday. I agree with you, I wasn’t as exhausted as I was with the 20 min run last week. I am looking forward to running 25 min tomorrow but a little nervous about it at the same time. I am amazed at how much the P:I has helped me come this far!! Is it that we are getting in better shape? I sure hope so. You have probably already run the 25 min. If so, let me know how it went for you.

    I have done Week 6 Mix 3 and started Week 7 today. I know that I am in better shape. I tried a run or two before discovering P:I and was pretty well dead after 1.25 miles. Today I did almost 2.5 miles. Only problem I have is some pain in my knees after I finish.

    I’m looking forward to some warmer weather and being able to run outside! I did the end of week 4 and first run of week 5 outside and it was MUCH, MUCH better than the treadmill running. I’ve already figured out a 3 mile route using http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/ .
